A__line Geräte basieren auf RAVENNA und sind kompatibel mit dem AES67 AoIP-Standard. Die Geräte werden werden mit dem VisCon__navigator ausgeliefert, einer intuitiv bedienbaren Software für den leichten Aufbau von Audio- und Video-Streams innerhalb von IP-Netzwerken, ohne dass dafür tieferes IT-Wissen notwendig ist.

Hochwertiges Analog-to-IP Interface

Das A__mic8 kombiniert in Lawo-Qualität acht Mic/Line-Eingänge, vier Line-Ausgänge, acht GPIOs und zwei RAVENNA / AES67 Ethernet-Ports in einem kompakten 19'/1HE-Gerät und unterstützt Abtastraten von 44.1 / 48 / 88.2* / 96k*Hz. Es ist perfekt geeignet für die Arbeit in Mehrfachanwendungen und -umgebungen und erfüllt die höchsten Ansprüche an Audioqualität mit ultra-geringer Distortion und Noise mithilfe hochwertigster Mikrofon-Preamps.

Da das A__mic8 seine Versorgung über Ethernet erhält (PoE), kann es mit nur einem CAT5-Kabel angebunden werden. Ein zweiter Ethernet-Port erlaubt das Daisy-Chaining mehrerer A__mic8-Einheiten und redundante Stromversorgung kann über den DC-Eingang eingerichtet werden. CAT5-Kabel sind für eine Entfernung von höchstens 100m zum versorgenden Switch geeignet; mit einem optionalen Coax-Konverter kann die Kabellänge auf 1km erweitert werden.

Lawo-grade Microphone Pre-amps
A__mic8’s discrete Class-A microphone preamplifiers deliver excellent performance with ultra low equivalent input noise even at moderate gains and very low noise at low gains. And even at high gains the circuitry provides superb distortion performance and a flat frequency response. Lawo’s Advanced Preamplifier Gain Structure employs a fully digital gain stage and two noise-scaling amplifiers, one analog and one digital. The analog noise-scaling amplifier in combination with its digital counterpart is used to manage the analog gain stage for optimal noise performance. Lawo’s unique methodology also makes it possible to change gain settings in the digital domain without any audible clicks. In addition to the A__mic8’s superb gain performance characteristics, it also offers advanced digital filters within the A/D conversion process that utilize modified FIR filter architecture to minimize latency while maintaining excellent linear phase response.

High-End Analog Output Stage
The analog output interfaces of the A__mic8 are designed for sonic excellence, featuring ultra low distortion and tracked-current voltage sources in the output stages, guaranteeing nearly equal currents in both lines independent of the load. Due to the resulting high common mode output impedance these output stages are floating. This ensures excellent noise damping and high common mode rejection with all kinds of input stages, even unbalanced ones.

A__digital8 & A__madi4

The Lawo A__digital8 and A__madi4 are the latest members of Lawo’s new A__line series of high-quality Audio-to-IP interfaces for broadcast, live and install applications. In combination with the existing A__mic8 the compact 19”/1RU devices provide  easy and reliable solutions for intuitively transporting analog and digital audio signals via IP network environments, and to establish IP-based audio networks. Based on RAVENNA technology, all A__line devices are also compatible with the AES67 audio-over-IP interoperability standard, and come with VisCon__navigator (an intuitive software for easy set-up of audio and video streams in IP networks without the necessity for deep IT knowledge) as standard. The A__mic8 features eight Lawo-grade mic/line inputs and four line outputs, A__digital8 eight AES3 inputs and four AES3 outputs and A__madi4 four MADI interfaces. All units also provide two RAVENNA / AES67 Ethernet ports and eight GPIOs.
